Diaz College spearheads Holiday Relief Mission

By: Marjun Ramirez

On December 17, 2025, under the visionary leadership of Mr. Rodrigo G. Diaz, School President of Diaz College, successfully executed the “A Season of Giving and Hope” relief mission at the Canlaon Evacuation Center. Supported by Mrs. Catherine Mollenido, School Director and Ms. Mercedita Guevarra, School Registrar the team partnered with SNAP and Bread of Life in delivering essential aid to displaced families.

The operation provided large-capacity water containers to ensure hygiene and red gift packs filled with food and treats to spread holiday cheer. By addressing immediate health needs and fostering emotional solidarity, the college demonstrated its motto, “Leadership through Service,” proving that educational institutions are vital beacons of community’s hope. This compassionate initiative by the staff and student volunteers reinforces Diaz College’s status as a leading institution committed to social responsibility and humanitarian excellence during times of crisis.
